"Everyone is different. That is why we are all limited editions."

De Jager & De Aardedraak
(The Hunter & The Earthdragon)

After writing a cultural story that is set in a fantasyworld, I have put the main characters into picture with the app Adobe Illustrator.

This cultural story is part of the book "De Verzamelde Verhalen van Floresta", translated "Floresta's Chronicle of Tales".

This is image is made to give a better idea on how the characters look.

It also helped me to  get an idea on how the fantasy world looks like.
For creating this image, I made a few sketches to see how the characters could be positioned. Additionally, I also reread the story to determine which scene would be best to depict.

Social Pressure

This is a trailer of a game that is set in the future of 2050.
The groupmembers behind the game had different role.
This game plays in the setting of Oslo, Sweden.
To create every bit of this game, the applications Blender and Unity have been used to create the environment and to make it interactive.

In this project I had the role of writing the story for the game and helped with the soundtrack inside of the world you travel through.
For the outside world, i have made the soundtrack.

"You can do this! I believe in you!"

Healthcare Error

This picture shows how a person, who relies on their exoskeleton, has fallen to the ground and can't seem to get up.
The message behind the picture: It is better to rely on your own health so don't rely on technology while you have no general health issues.

During this project, I took the camera with me and helped by being the model in this photo.

Sometimes I helped by telling what could make the photo better. Think about certain poses, the lighting, from which view the picture best could be taken, etc.

Book cover Libertatum

For one of my own books I have made a book cover, using Adobe Illustrator.
The book is still in proces and will be published with this book sleeve for the hardcover while for the paperback it looks similar.

There have been multiple sketches made for this cover until I came to this version.
The sleeve for the hardcover and the cover of the paperback are shown in this video.

"If I can ski through heavy snowfall, I strongly believe I can also drive through this bad weather."

Book Libertatum,
Genre: Thriller/Detective

Researchlab (Year 3)

Libertatum is a book about a firma that has replaced most of the police stations in the world.
This happened since these police stations turned out to be corrupt. The picture above is the book cover I use now until I have finished writing the book.

Libertatum: an immersive thriller filled with suspense and mystery, unraveling the fate of Jessie Smith. While forensic teams and investigators dig for clues, dark secrets and disturbing discoveries are revealed. A web of intrigue and unexpected twists leads to a breathtaking climax where the truth is finally brought to light. Join Emma Jones and her team as they uncover the shocking truth behind Jessie's disappearance, and discover how the power of perseverance and determination can solve a series of seemingly unsolvable puzzles.

I started writing this book when I was 15. Throughout the years, I have changed the cover of the book and changed the storyline to make it more sense for readers.
This book can be bought on Amazon for Kindle & as hardcover. The paperbacks are still in the making.

Autism Tourguide: How to explore Autism

This product is a guide for my form of autism. Due to receiving a late diagnosis, I wanted to document for myself and for others in which situations my autism becomes apparent.
Because we had a lot of freedom during this module, I created a kind of digital book.
During this project, I had drawn all of the images and with help of others I tried to draw certain situations out.
Sometimes I asked others if they understood what I ment with those images and sketches.
They understood them and thought it could be helpful.

"Everything will be okay in the end.
If it is not okay, it means it is not the end."

De Witte Grimbeer & De Rode Wolf

(The White Grimbear & The Red Wolf)

This image is made to represent two characters from the story "The White Grmbear & The Red Wolf".
Through Illustrator I have tried to make different looks and different ways of using a different artstyle compared to the first cultural story of "Floresta's Chronicle of Tales".
I did this on purpose to give the story more of it's own design.
One of the other things is that I wanted it to show that the story belonged to a different clan than the first story.

Grief Support

For my research lab, I worked within the theme of The New Canterbury Tales, where I conducted research on the future of end-of-life. During the research, we explored various target groups, approaches, stages of grief, etc., to create a product that could assist people during the grieving process. Based on the research, multiple tests were conducted to determine what works for different target groups and what can help them. Ultimately, an application called Grief Support was developed based on the research to help the entire family, friends, and acquaintances.

"In this world, we can be our own person."

“Ik zie je wel zitten.” / “I see you.”

I see you follows Lotte, who meets Will through the internet.

Their connection is strong, and they decide to meet in a park just days after their initial online conversation.

The story highlights the increasing trend of people meeting online and trusting that their digital interactions reflect reality.

But is this trust justified?

For this groups-work, my group and have looked at the amount of online dating and how people trust blindly.
This way we wanted to create a thrilling yet realistic narrative that questions this trust.

Campaign "Project Social Bunny"

This project has encouraged people to reconsider using a car for commuting to work, opting for a bicycle instead.

During the project, trends, behaviours, and responses were analyzed.

The campaign was designed to influence the behaviour of people who commute by car, even though they could easily use a bicycle or public transport instead.

The aim was to change behaviour to reduce car usage, thereby decreasing exhaust emissions and giving the climate some relief.

My role in this groupwork was to see behaviour patterns that came back in routines and to help with the social media account.

"Feedforward is the way forward!"

CMD-076 Magazine

This project was done in teamwork by the first and second years of my studies Communication and Multimedia Design (CMD).

At the beginning of the project, the students chose a specific course in which they were interested.

This magazine represents what Communication and Multimedie Design withholds as a study, what the students work on and how they view the studies themselves.

Information poster

This project was done in a team of two during the first year of my studies Communication and Multimedia Design (CMD).

At the start of the project, we learned how to interview others to understand their struggle as a student in the first year of a study.
With the interviews, insights were used to write a text and to make this poster.
